Beun – De Ronde receives Court Supplier Designation
On Wednesday, September 28, Mayor Maarten Divendal of the Municipality of De Ronde Venen presented the predicate ‘purveyor to the Court‘ to the management of Beun – De Ronde. This happened during the trade fair World of Technology & Science in the Jaarbeurshallen. In 2021 the company celebrated its 100th year of existence.
The designation ‘purveyor to the Court’ is a royal appreciation for the importance of the company to society and for its way of doing business. Court Suppliers used to literally be entrepreneurs who supplied the Court. This is no longer the case, but there are still conditions attached. For example, the company must exist for at least 100 years and have had impeccable business practices in all those years.
“Beun – De Ronde now belongs to a select group of companies” – Mayor Maarten Divendal
Management Mike Klinkenberg and Corné Reuvers took delivery of the predicate. During the presentation, Mayor Maarten Divendal expressed his enormous pride in the company. “Because of this royal recognition, Beun – De Ronde now belongs to a select group of companies. Only a handful of companies in De Ronde Venen may carry the Royal Supplier designation. That is unique. Beun – De Ronde tries to work as much as possible with local companies and thus also helps the local economy.”
